Biography
Konstantina Malapani, born in 2002, began studying guitar at a very young age. She initially trained at the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata under Antonis Koufoudakis before moving to Thessaloniki in 2020 to pursue her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Macedonia, studying with Elena Papandreou. Since September 2025, she has been pursuing a Master’s degree in specialized music performance at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) under the mentorship of Vojin Kocić.

As a soloist, she has been awarded 1st prize at the 30th Patras International Guitar Festival, 2nd prize at Guitar Feasts in 2024, and 3rd prize at the 13th Kalamata Guitar Festival. In 2023, she received 1st prize at the Chamber Music Competition “Elias Kouskouvelis” at the University of Macedonia, where she performed as part of a flute–guitar duo with Theodora Apostolidou. In 2025, she was awarded 1st prize in the Concerto Competition of the Veria International Guitar Festival.
She has attended masterclasses with: Leo Brouwer, Zoran Dukic, Giampaolo Bandini, Sergio Assad, Odair Assad, Suzana Prieto, Alexis Mouzourakis and more.
